Holistic Solutions for Lasting Change
At MFWAFO Foundation, we believe that poverty, addiction, violence, and exclusion are deeply interconnected and so must be our response.
Thatβs why our work is designed to heal the whole person, restore dignity, and build stronger, peaceful communities. Every program we runΒ from elderly care and youth rehabilitation to entrepreneurship and education is a building block in the transformation of lives.
We work across nine impact areas, all interwoven into one mission: to create a Kenya where no one is forgotten, and everyone has the opportunity to rise.

Elderly Care & Support
Because aging with dignity is a right, not a privilege.
Too many elders in Kenya are abandoned or living in deplorable conditions. We respond with:
β’ Monthly food and care packages
β’ Home visits and psychosocial support
β’ Construction of a purpose-built Retirement Village for 2,000+ vulnerable seniors
π― Goal: Reach 2,000 elderly citizens by 2026
π Aligned with: SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequality)

Youth Rehabilitation & Reintegration
From addiction to ambition, we walk with them.
Youth in our communities face rising substance abuse, unemployment, and hopelessness. Our program offers:
β’ Detox and rehabilitation
β’ Mental health and trauma counseling
β’ Life and vocational skills training (digital, carpentry, agriculture)
β’ Reintegration support and mentorship
π― Goal: Support 500 youth per year by 2026
π Aligned with: SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 8, SDG 16

Women & Youth Economic Empowerment
Empower a woman or youth, and you transform a village.
We equip women and young people with tools for economic independence:
β’Tailoring, weaving, and climate-smart skills
β’ Business mentorship & financial literacy
β’ Access to startup capital through Besma SACCO Ltd
π― Impact: 60% report increased income within 6 months
π Aligned with: SDG 5, SDG 8, SDG 13

Bright minds should never be held back by poverty. Our scholarship program offers:
β’ Tuition support from primary to university
β’ Mentorship, guidance, and school materials
β’ Support for orphans and vulnerable learners
π― Vision: 1,000 scholars by 2028

Feeding & Clothing Program
Dignity starts with a warm meal and clean clothing.
We run ongoing relief programs for:
β’ Elderly citizens
β’ Street families
β’ Disaster-affected Communities
Our food and clothing banks, outreach events, and nutrition education promote wellness and dignity.
